The Bachelor\u2019s level curriculum encompasses specialized subjects, including solo singing, stage movement, fundamental acting skills, vocal-and-acting scenes, general music-related subjects and arts, and a group of pedagogical subjects. The Master\u2019s level curriculum comprises one of two specializations, which is chosen by the student. The vocal-and-acting specialization focuses on subjects related to the preparation of operatic parts in terms of music and acting, and the song-and-oratorio specialization prepares the musical aspects of oratorios and cantatas. The latter specialization also covers a seminar devoted to vocal chamber music. The repertoire sung by students as part of the course titled solo singing also differs depending on the specialization chosen. All second-level students attend the old music performance seminar. Graduates from The Vocal Faculty of the Academy and of similar university schools of music may improve their technical skills and knowledge regarding interpretation of vocal music by attending the third-level three-year course of study (the PhD course).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>An important part of the teaching process at The Vocal Faculty is work on annual opera performances given by students of the vocal-and-acting specialization<\/strong>. The following works have been staged in recent years:<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dido and Aeneas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by Henry Purcell, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teseo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Berenice and Rinaldo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by Georg Friedrich Haendel, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Marriage of Figaro<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Zauberfl\u00f6te<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Clemenza di Tito<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apollo und Hyacinth<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Bastien und Bastienne<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019italiana in Algeri<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> [The Italian Girl in Algiers], <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il barbiere di Siviglia <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[The Barber of Seville] and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il signor Bruschino<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by Gioacchino Rossini, and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019elisir d\u2019amore<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by Gaetano Donizetti.
