About the program:<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0The new program offered by the Wroc\u0142aw University of Environmental and Life Sciences is a double diploma degree in food technology taught in English in cooperation with a partner from Spain, University Miguel Hernandez of Elche. Students will spend part of the course in Spain and part in Poland, they will have the opportunity to write their master\u2019s theses under the supervision of lecturers from both universities, and in the end they will receive two diplomas. More academically oriented students might appreciate the fact that the new double diploma program stems from a long time partnership of both universities in research and PHD level education, which offers unique opportunities for further academic development, such as the International Doctoral School offered by the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences. Admissions will begin in September 2021, with the first batch of students expected to start classes in Poland, in March 2022.<\/p>

Semester 1 (UPWr)<\/strong><\/p>

Biotechnology of plant products, forms of intellectual and industrial property, diploma seminar and laboratory<\/p>

Semester 2 (UMH)<\/strong><\/p>

Biotechnological advances in food production, food hygiene, innovation in meat, dairy, fish and plant-based food production, sensory analysis as a tool for food innovation, management and funding of research, planning and preparation of scientific papers, research in quality and safety of animal products, master thesis.<\/p>

Semester 3 (UPWr)<\/strong><\/p>

Aromatic profile in food and its relationship with quality,\u00a0 antioxidants, nutraceuticals, and functional food ingredients, innovative packaging, advanced methodologies in food quality and safety, advanced animal well-being, bio sustainability and assessment of food industry co-products, market research and directions of agro-food marketing, master thesis.<\/p>

Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche is a university in Spain, located in the province of Alicante. Its main strengths include focus on innovation and technological development, quality of teaching, and world-class research, which makes it obvious why the cooperation between the two universities began with research and PHD studies.
