Individual master&#8217;s dissertation projects coordinated by the Faculty&#8217;s research and teaching staff serve this purpose. The second cycle program reflects the specificity and high quality of scientific research of the Faculty&#8217;s 15 research groups.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>What can you learn?<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>A graduate of Medical Biotechnology:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">possesses comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of biological sciences, in particular of biochemistry and medical biotechnology, that is essential to perform professional duties in interdisciplinary manner<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is proficient in using bioinformatics tools and literature in the English language in his or her professional work;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is prepared to discuss scientific issues;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">knows how to arrange individual and team work in the laboratory in accordance with the principles of bioethics and safety;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has knowledge of the implementation of research and application projects,\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">knows the principles for the creation and development of individual entrepreneurship and is well informed in the market of biotech companies;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is able to facilitate his or her further learning and career planning;<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">speaks English at B2+ level and uses professional English vocabulary related to biology, biochemistry, biomedicine and biotechnology.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program lasts 2 years (4 semesters).
